Begins practicing calligraphy at 5 years old, on father’s recommendation.
Father decided that he would enroll in Japan’s Defense Force ever since he could remember;
he eventually joined the marine corps.
Boards the Cruiser Hyuuga, sends a superior officer before discharge.
A self-invented word compound, meaning a phoenix freely shining on the seas, symbol of a new life:
“Magnificent Phoenix of the Seas”.
This time, he saw the superior officer’s glad reaction
And knew how fulfilling it felt to make people happy with his calligraphy.
Since I was little, I found it hard to relate words to people directly.
My way to relate feelings honestly.
Is calligraphy, he felt, so he changed his goal from officer to calligraphy.
He writes calligraphy that moves the world’s heart from Japan,
Walking that path himself, expressing words through calligraphy,
He is active as a calligrapher that expresses the courage
to act and the wonders of the world through calligraphy.
